My TOS Romulan Bird-Of-Prey by AMT

I've seen these. Is that the complete set then? I

As far as I can tell, that set matches the one I've got at home (somewhere), so I believe that to be complete.

Yep, that is the same set I have.

Trekriffic, I am open to the idea of sharing scans except, as you say, there are definite copyright problems. Also, my own scanner is A4 sized, and nearly all of those suckers are poster-sized and/or oddly shaped.

Also, these days, you can probably find most of them somewhere on the Net, plus a bunch I don't have.

Thanks 7thsealord. The link Mysterion posted has all the schematics so there's no need to scan them now.

Time to finish my current 1/1000 TOS Production Enterprise project and move on to taking some pictures of the BOP hanging in front of my starfield backdrop. I'll be trying to recreate scenes from the original episode of "Balance of Terror".

That is a lot of time and effort, with vision too. That's really kind of inspiring. Thanks for sticking with it. And sharing the results with us.

Thanks very much.
I had a lot of time to think of little things to add like the spotlights in the hangar bay.
Not everything worked out as I'd planned originally of course, there was supposed to be a combination push button on-off and rheostat/dimmer switch built into what eventually became the external power jack where the disposal chute is but I had to abandon that idea when I discovered that the LEDs drew too much power from the internal batteries for long term use. They were fine for a few minutesa but after that the lights would noticeably dim; not enough mA capacity in those small "button" batteries to run 10 LEDs as it turned out. That necessitated turning the disposal chute into a DC power jack so I could run the lights off larger external C-cell batteries. I was able to rig a switch under the aft port hatch cover on the stern allowing me to switch from internal to external power sources. So in the end I had the best of both worlds; I could place her on the stand as a nicely lit display piece or I could fly her around the room free of the stand for a few minutes all lit up! Every build teaches me something and this one taught me the value of perseverance and creative problem solving for sure. I would be deeply honored to think that this project could serve as an inspiration to other modellers.
