My thoughts on TNG Season 1

Ha maybe I should try that. When I went through and rated everything, season one of TNG scored the lowest of all Trek seasons (6.44/10).

Maybe a little "attitude adjustment" would do the trick.

hehe... i just so happen to be watching TNG all the way through... while baked currently on season 3. i have a new appreciation for seasons 1 & 2! Finished up TOS for the first time using that process as well. That show was pure brilliance

All the White Widow and Trainwreck in California couldn't save the first season of TNG as a whole.

I don't think being baked can salvage that episode!

Season 1 of TNG, frankly, amazes me. It's an anomaly in the truest sense of the word. Had any name other than 'Star Trek' been fixed to it, it wouldn't have aired more than halfway through.

But, thankfully, somebody at Paramount had enough super-human foresight to recognize the potential of the show beyond anything illustrated by Season 1.

Talk about ironic, that was the same state Roddenberry was in when he was putting together the story ideas for Season One.

Season 1 had a few good points, but was mostly trash.

I think the show picked up from Season 2, and reached a consistent height in Season 3 and on from there.

I guess it was just teething problems, but season 1 stank bad.
