Hello, fellow Trek artists, I finally decided to get my pretentious butt off of the CGI gig and get down into the glue & pieces with all the other hard-working Trek fans. Of course, I decided to do something that I'll probably never have the time to finish as my first project: a full-scale, lighted Borg costume... made primarily out of cardboard and paper, with Christmas lights throughout. 
I decided to start working on the eyepiece, as it's the smallest, simplest part. Here's a pic:
Unfortunately, image embedding doesn't seem to want to work for me... so here's a link! Woot...
Don't scoff at me! Paper is freakin' magical. I created a Harry Potter wand out of paper, painted it, but didn't take a picture of it before I gave it to a friend.
