My Starfleet Infantryman and Dalek...

OK, it's been a while since I last posted anything here, but I've done two pieces of fanart for both Star Trek and Doctor Who.

Here is my intepretation of a what a Starfleet infantryman could look like, but bare in mind it's from the JJ-verse, and is based upon that traffic cop chasing a pre-teen Kirk (crossed with an Imperial Stormtrooper in scout gear):

Can't help but notice, just where does this guy keep his testicles?

I think before I'd go inking and colouring them, I'd be looking to get the basic proportions and perspective correct. Your trooper has little upper body to speak of and an awfully narrow head, while the Dalek looks like there's not a parallel line on it. Keep at it with the pencil, strengthening the lines that work and losing those that miss until you have something that looks correct. There's no time limit on getting the basics right.
