- The Jack-Kate-Sawyer triangle ends with Kate not ending up with anyone. I have a feeling Jack will have bigger things on his mind and we've already had our chance of having Jack and Kate together as a couple in Season 4. Sawyer just lost Juliet, who he was in a three-year relationship with unlike Kate who he had feelings for in the few months they were on the island prior to the time flashes. I don't think Sawyer isn't in the mood to get into another relationship and I rather it stayed that way. I'm hoping the resolution to the triangle happens earlier in the season than around the series finale.
- There'll be two timelines the season will be following side-by-side: the alternate timeline that the Losties wake up in after the bomb goes off and the timeline that follows after they wake up from the alternate timeline and back on the island.
- Jacob will play a major role in the alternate timeline giving the Losties some needed pushes that will help in getting his nemesis, the Man in Black, the ass-kissing he deserves.
- There'll be two separate reunions between Jin and Sun. One that will take place in the alternate timeline between Jin and the past version of his wife. And the other that takes place in the present when Jin finally meet up with Sin after so long.
- Though John's body won't come back to life in the present, I think we'll see him come back with his memories intact and some special knowledge possibly given by Jacob in the alternate timeline that the Losties wake up in.
- An unexpected connection between Jack and Locke will be exposed. Maybe John turns out to be Christian Shepherd's half-brother making him Jack and Claire's uncle.
- Ben makes a heroic sacrifice in the series finale.
- Jack stays behind on the island, fully embracing his fate which he tried so hard to run away from in the past.
