My new song

I played in bands, wrote and recorded music for about 20 years. I gave it up when I got married 9 years ago. I recently found a guy who lives in my subdivision who has a home studio and we have begun collaborating. Here are the results. Any feed back is appreciated.

Very good and very dreamy stuff, Kail! I listened to the whole playlist on the MySpace site. I think I like Why Do I Dream? the best. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but I think it's the waving guitar and some of the vocal harmonics in the background. I'm reminded of some of the more quiet Smashing Pumpkins songs of the 90s (or even the James Iha solo album, if you happen to know it).

I think you can be proud of yourself.

I'm listening to "Why Do I Dream?" right now. Very good! Better than a lot of stuff I've heard on the radio. I'm trying to catch influences; I think I hear some early Eagles in there....

I'll Post again when I hear all of them.

Okay, I've heard them all and I really like them, especially "Why Do I Dream?" and "It's All Over Now (Baby Blue)." I think I'm hearing influences of the Eagles and Pink Floyd in there. Very good, professional work, both musically and lyrically. If you guys were to release these on CD or via download, I would definitely buy them.
