^^ You've both got some good angles on it, but it would be more than that. I was trying to come up with a "light destroyer" type Class I or Class II starship, something smaller and of much lower profile than my two-nacelled take on the Saladin/Hermes.
Actually, Evil Starship Factory's execution of the Revere would be a loosely similar, TMP-ized version of this little ship as well. I wanted to move away from the FJ standardized everything-built-around-a-Connie saucer type design and come up with a small fighting and patrol ship but still have it be a starship-of-the-line. So the front is a partial mini-saucerette (like the Revere) and the middle- and aft parts being a kind of broken secondary hull, almost as if the ship is built (very loosely) like a tube or missile. The nacelles would have the same diameter as the Connie's, but would be shorter like Forbin's Minmus.
