My Doctor Who Pumpkin!

Yes, I decided to show my Doctor Who love this Halloween by carving my pumpkin with a design of the 10th doctor and his tardis.

Here it is:

The thing took me nearly four hours to complete! But I'm pleased with the result. Plus, now all the neighbors can know what a geek I am!

I'm glad I can show the pumpkin off to people who actually know what it's supposed to be.

One of my siblings (who knows nothing about Doctor Who) was like, "Oh, I like the man's face, and I can see the building behind him."

And I suppose 95% of the trick-or-treaters will have no clue what DW is, but if there's even one Whovian who gets it, I'll be happy.

Wow, that's fantastic!! It actually looks like Tennant! I like the flashes of light from the lamp on top and coming through the doors, and that's really cool how you have the different shades of orange colour. Amazing! You should shrink the image down and make that your Halloween avatar next year!

^ Sadly, I don't think any of the kids recognized the DW pumpkin design. But it was raining cats and dogs last night, so the number of trick-or-treaters was at a minimum.

While the pumpkin may not have received much love at home, I really appreciate the positive comments I received here! It made the project totally worth while!

And I think I'll follow your suggestion Worf2DS9, and use the picture as my av for next October.
