my C era fleet

thought I'd try my hand at designing proper star ships. these will be from the enterprise c era and all will be in service when the enterprise c was in service.
hopefully i can complete these guys before my attention wanders off track again to something else also i shall hopefully be able to do a little back story on each ship at present the first two are wip.
also just to add on the second ship i can not take credit for the saucer or nacelles they were found by a friend of mine on the net awhile back he cant remember where he got them from but all the rest is of my design.

the first is the Stella shield a cruiser from the early part of the c era by this time she is on her second wind so to speak as being built around the late 'B' era. she has a crew of 600 and at present has four photon torpedo's, two fwd, two aft

The second ship is a C era frigate similar to FASAs loknar frigate
not as advance in the building stage but I've got the placement about right.

Put the nacelle pylons from the bottom ship onto the top ship, and it would be 100% superb.

may think about that.
but for now heres a couple of updates
first up an experiment on a couple of auxiliary shuttle bays

the thinking at the moment is that the Stella shield class cruiser now getting old was still a good ship though her systems were up graded it was felt that the larger shuttles being developed would cause congestion in the main bay especially when then Stella shields were operating under their new guise as colony support cruisers.
these ships would be used for the frontier colonies to give supply boost or general policing action the extended shuttle compliment would help in transporting supplies into areas were the transporter isn't an option to use.

the second one is for the frigate,

I've temporary built up the 2ndry hull though may change it as I'm not too happy with it, the lower hull has the 'spine' in place and also I'm trying an experimental placement of the impulse engine on the under side of the ship.

mind you now looking at the Stella shield i may dump the auxiliary bays

thought i would try out a ship with a background to it, seems ok though the ship seems a little light. anyone who uses shetch up know how to change the lighting?

I like the continuuity of design you have going with your cruiser and the later Sovereign Class. It is clearly of an earlier era, yet similar enough that you can see how the Sovereign designers may have had your older ship in mind in laying theirs out.

With the uni-hull design, perhaps having an angled pylon on it - it would look a bit nicer. I like both of these designs - clearly of that era, and still linking to TNG era.
