My 1/25 Galileo 7 shuttle build

Chris PikE

Commander
Red Shirt
Having a blast with this kit...in anticipation for the Round 2 kit on it's way.

The model is, of course, in progress. For the interior colors I used all my reference material from the episode Galileo 7. The interior cabin as well as rear engine are lit.
I did not light the domes on the end of the nacelles...why? because they were never lit in the show, Im boring that way.

The model was airbrushed with a mixture of Tamiya and Model Master paint.
Once the interior is complete, the model will be sealed and the exterior two tone colors applied.

Currently the upper hull is just sitting on the model and is unpainted/light blocked. Again, I need to complete the interior then I will address the exterior with seam filling ETC...

1/25 "Randy Cooper" Galileo Shuttlecraft build.
"In Progress"
The upper hull currently is removable (hence the noticeable split in the wings.)so, at a future date, I can add more interior detail before permanently sealing the model up.
The interior and rear engine light up.
The nacelle caps do not light up...why? They NEVER did in the series. Im boring that way.
Eventually I will build a Diorama for the model after I have some video fun, like my other builds, of the Shuttlecraft doing it's thing.

You had best get housekeeping in there to vacuum and dust.
No Need...you will notice(perhaps not), the first series of pics were In Progress shots...Hence the dust. Before attaching the upper hull I took the time to clean the interior before re attaching the upper hull.

Is that backdrop a screenshot that you've composited in? or did you actually build a TOS rockwall? If so, I'd love to hear how you built that, cause it looks perfect.

The model and the foreground are blended into an actual image from the episode. A composite. Having said that however, I plan on a large scale diorama with a completely scratch built set that reflects the real one as close as possible.

Thanks!!

Great Work!!!!
I myself am trying to build a diorama showing only the interior of the shuttlecraft, but in 1:6 scale to fit with my TOS 12 inch action figures from QMx and the figures Exo-6 will be releasing.
Any idea how to create the shuttlecraft chaire in 1:6?
