MOTOR VESSEL SEABOURN LEGEND​

Serving different cruise lines under diffferent names, Seabourn Legend was owned by Seabourn Cruise Lines from 1996 to 2015. She is 440 ft long, with a beam of 63 ft and a draft of 16.5 ft. Capable of a speed of 19 knots, she has a complement of 164 officers and crew and a capacity of 208 passengers.

The sequel to the hit action movie Speed. Starring Sandra Bullock and Jason Patric, it’s the story of the hijacking of a cruise ship by a terrorist played by Willem DeFoe. The action took place aboard real life cruise ship Seabourn Legend.

I have no particular liking for the floating resorts they call cruise ships these days.

I have no particular liking for the floating resorts they call cruise ships these days.

Nor have I, but the Seabourn Legend is small as cruise ships go, so I imagine it's quite a different experience than those monster vessels that can carry ≈2000 passengers. It's also a sleek and handsome design, unlike so many large modern cruise ships that look like multi-story hotels plopped on top of boat hulls.
