Music on Trek...

Many Trek charactors have played musical insturments on all the Trek Series... From Spock playing some kind of Vulcan Harp on TOS, to Pickard playing a flute, and Riker playing a trumphet on TNG. To Harry playing a flute, and later a Sax on Voyager. The only question did anyone of the main charactors play any muscial insturments on DS-9...

Yep. His parents wanted him to go to conservatory and become a professional musician but he basically said, "the hell with that" and enlisted in Starfleet. Don't think they were too happy about that. I think he still brings the cello out to play every so often, but as a hobby rather than professionally.
