If you would be interested to know how music of all kinds inspired the writing of my Star Trek Vanguard novels (and you have 2 hours and 40 minutes to kill), check out the latest episode of Trek.fm's MELODIC TREKS podcast, hosted by Brandon-Shea Mutala: It Was in Music That I Found the Answer”.

In this deep-dive podcast, Brandon and I discuss the many and varied musical muses behind my Star Trek Vanguard novels, including a few narrated tracks in which I show, beat by beat, how they inspired specific sequences and character moments in the books. Check it out!

If folks enjoy this podcast, Brandon and I are considering doing another focused on my Star Trek Destiny trilogy.

I listened to your interview .I enjoyed how you used music to come up with the story arcs for certain Vanguard characters and the Tholian and Shedai story lines was fascinating.
