Murder by Death

I saw it in theater way back when, and did an oral book report on the novelization in English class. Got an A.

It's a sendup of iconic film and literary detectives: Sam Spade, The Thin Man, Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot, Charlie Chan ...

I bought the DVD a while back, and though it's dated and a little(!) silly it's still a fun movie.

And Maggie Smith was smokin' hot.

Love it.

One of my favorite movies ever. A stellar ensemble cast including Truman Capote, and Alec Guinness. It's good with Clue as a double feature to "kill good weekend."

I remember my sister and I getting such a huge kick out of this when we were kids.

Oh dear. Sounds like somebody snipped the wire.
Really? What did it sound like?
Snip.

My God, what an entrance!

I smell gas!
I can't help it! I'm an old lady!

What would someone do with a dead naked butler?
