Multiply and Apple pies

I remember back in the day when everyone thought Shatner was egotistical (well, he is) because he was in several episodes playing two kirks at the same time (Mirror Mirror--What Are Little Girls Made of ect)...but then I was watching TNG earlier, and I watched the episode where Data malfunctions and the holodeck western days becomes a fight for survivial....of all the star trek shows, which actor holds the record of playing more than one character in an episode, whether a mirror copy of their regular character, or even a hologram extra like Picard in The Defector...

Who is the most multiplied actor on STAR TREK??? Meaning in the same episode or amount of episodes they appeared as two characters?

AND who did it best and when?

Nana Visitor might have appeared in all four or five DS9 MU episodes as both Kira and Intendant Kira.

Spiner:

Datalore
We'll Always Have Paris
Schizoid Man
Hollow Pursuits
Brothers
Power Play
A Fistful of Datas
Birthright, Part 1
Descent, Part 1
Descent, Part 2
Inheritence
Masks
Nemesis

Are we including hallucinations by the other characters?

Either way, there's multiple Janeway/Mulgrews on a few occasions:

Projections (hologram)
Deadlock (Copied)
Worst Case Scenario (Hologram again)
Course: Oblivion (Silver Blood Janeway)
11:59 (Shannon O'Donnell)
Fury (Past Janeway)
Shattered (Past Janeway)
Renaissance Man (Doctor disguise)
Endgame (Future Janeway)

Plus there's a few times when she shows up in people's dreams or hallucinations

And I believe Spiner probably has the most multiples in a given episode, with "A Fist Full of Datas", but with "Parallels" in the mix, I'm not sure. For that episode, Worf visited at least 7 parallel universes, and at least one additional Riker was featured, too.

Holy cow..that is a lot!!!

I missed several of them, actually.

Evolution (posessed by nanites)
Yesterday's Enterprise (alternate reality)
Remember Me (illusion)
Future Imperfect (illusion)
Frame of Mind (dream)
Parallels (alternate reality)
All Good Things... (alternate reality)

So the full list would be:

Datalore
We'll Always Have Paris
Schizoid Man
Evolution
Yesterday's Enterprise
Hollow Pursuits
Brothers
Remember Me
Future Imperfect
Power Play
A Fistful of Datas
Birthright, Part 1
Frame of Mind

Inheritence
Parallels
Masks
All Good Things...
Nemesis

I'm not sure about Remember Me or Frame of Mind, though. I'm not sure if the real Data appeared in those stories. If he didn't, then it wouldn't count as two characters.

I would count REMEMBER ME and FRAME OF MIND. He is in both 'realities' and had Data been there at the end of REMEMBER ME, and had been sucked through the tornado thing at the end, he would have coexisted with another Data...so yeah, I think it counts.

And FRAME OF MIND was all just in Riker's mind, but still, they all had double parts in that episode. SHIP IN A BOTTLE is a possiblility, but not for DATA/Barkley or Picard. Riker would count since Moriarty was dealing with him in the real reality and he was in the fake one as well...I think...
