MU Janeway...

In the episode "Living Witness" do you think the Janeway that the Kyrians
represented her to be, a bloodthristy killing machine. Do you think that Janeway would be a good model for the MU Janeway, or was it a bit over the top even for the total oppisite of our Kathrine...

Actually, the inaccurate holo-representation of Janeway is an excellent model for a MU Janeway.
Of course, if she was part of the rebellion, then things would likely be a bit more mellower as she would have to WORK with others in order to achieve a desired goal, so phasering others would happen only after she'd finish using someone and she thinks they don't pose a threat to her.

But if we'd be talking about MU SF (Empire) itself where she'd be in command ... then things would likely be nearly identical as portrayed in the holo-program (for all of her crew).

Living Witness was as close to an espisode of the MU that Voyager ever really got. Although Tuvok was in an MU episode in DS9 if I remember correctly.

^^
Right you are, Tuvok was indeed in an ep of DS-9, the episode in question is "Through the looking Glass" DS-9 Season 3 episode 20...

^ And he wasn't evil :). Tuvok was a Representative of the Vulcan Resistance of the Alliance.

Not all characters within the MU had completely opposite personalities from their 'regular universe' (at least in our perception) counterparts.

Although, there is something to be said about that because the MU characters appeared to have a 'hidden streak' which reeked of 'complete opposite' and sometimes has a tendency of showing even then.
Jeniffer was practically identical to Ben's Jeniffer from what we got to know.

If DS9 remains true, dspite there being an infinite number of mirror universes, and even also an infinite number of mirror universe which did encounter Kirk and spock that are not in the slightest like the one we saw on DS9...

Gul Seska (and her sex pet Chakotay.) would be in some sort of shakey alliance with the terrorist leader Janeway after their ships got taken by the Caretaker... Remember how Mosset decided that animals like didn't need clothes? Maybe Janeway is not even in a favourable alliance, they could still be slaves (with benefits?)? And every week kathy tries to turn the tables on Seska and fails.

I totally thoguht living witness was Mirror Universe. How could the production staff not know that they were playing bait and switch? Were they forbidden because DS9 called dibs?

Agreed, this ep could have such a MU ep that I am under the assumption that the writers did mean to imply that this was an MU ep, they just did not tell us...

Y'know it's just as possible that what we saw in Living Witness about Voyager being a crew of cutthroat bastards was real and that everything else in every other episode, in every other series was a lie.

They prophecized that in Star Wars IX that it turns out everything is the to two gay droids telling stories to Han and Leia's children.
