Back in the early 2000s there was a prominent and frequent trekbbs member called "Mr Stinky Pants" . I believe he may have also gone by "The God Thing". He was a hardcore TMP fan and had very strong opinions on what he considered cannon in Star Trek. I seem to recall he was also a hardcore SF fan and had the rare opinion of disliking Star Trek 4 to the point of crying as he left the theater. I distinctly remember he was disappointed in the 2001 DE of TMP because he had extremely high expectations.
I imagine this member has long retired from this forum. If he is still around , I would be curious to find out on what he thought of the recent TMP DE.
