Movies I-VI Screening in London This Weekend.

Slightly late notice I'm afraid, somehow I thought I'd seen a thread already but it was about another showing.

So, The Motion Picture and Khan are on tonight, with III-VI tomorrow and a mystery screening (The Menagerie? A documentary?) on the evening, all at the Regent Street cinema.

Annoyingly I saw Khan in London just a few weeks ago (if I'd have known I'd have saved a trip!), so I'll be seeing TMP and III, IV and V having seen VI at the cinema a mere 25 years ago. Then I'll have seen all 13 films on the big screen! Sadly the mystery screening is after my last train back to the midlands and I can't afford another night over, but hopefully it'll be a fun weekend.

It says on the website they're showing all of the films, with the exception of Wrath of Khan, in 35mm too! I imagine they'll be showing the new 4K remaster for II.

If anyone attends the screenings, make sure to report in! Wish I lived in London right now

According to the guy doing the intro they couldn't get a 35m Khan.

Nice cinema, and I actually managed to stay awake (not the obvious dig, I work nights and had finished at 6AM, was only able to get about three hours sleep before heading down).

The foyer is decked out with TV's showing various Trek pictures as well as a nice touch.
