I voted for option one, and my plan would then be to take with us:

The recommendations thread
I would assume that people keep archives of their own materials, so no-one would actually lose 'the only copy' of their beloved story. We could even start a single thread for people to post links to their work off-site that has been posted here. I'd assume people would be pleased to have an excuse - err opportunity to repost stories that would be lost in the move.
a) please think about this and vote
b) judging by the present voting, it looks like option A is going to win - is there anything else we need to take with us? We'd be allowed a bit more than 4 threads, I think!
