Most Irritating TNG Guest Star Character

Which guest character on TNG did you find most annoying? Preferably other than Lwaxana or Q.

For me, it was Ensign Sonia Gomez, who was on Q Who and Samaritan Snare. She was dense, she talked too much, and she had an obnoxious sounding voice.

Dr. Kate Pulaski

I love Diana Muldaur in TOS. She's a very sophisticated and enchanting presence during her two entries in that series. But come TNG, wow ... what a difference, whatever it was? 20 years, I guess. Pulaski was shoehorned into needless interactions with the crew and it just didn't work. It's like ... "what's Pulaski doing here? Who invited her?" I'm not saying that Kate should've been stuck in Sick Bay like the EMH from VOY, but the writing for her scenes wasn't that hot and the interplay with the regular cast seemed quite awkward. It's hard to explain. Like the scene was scripted moments before it was shot and nobody knows how they should respond to her, or her to them. I'm so glad ... so very glad ... that Gates McFadden was enticed back to the series. -- Really! I just couldn't have handled anymore Pulaski on the show.

Okona. For me, it was that episode, but Joe Piscopo. The way the episode is written, you'd think they were trying to prove humor doesn't exist.

Her replacement Dr Pulaski had the worst bedside manner ever. Sooo incredibly rude and lacked compassion for the patients. Thank goodness she got booted off the show

... Boring? You find Bev "boring"? I'll admit that the episodes about her personal life weren't quite Emmy-winning material, but she was great, otherwise. And to be fair to Pulaski, I will - albeit reluctantly - admit to liking her in "The Icarus Factor." Her relationship with Riker's dad -- by extension -- did help to enrich the backstory of Riker a little more. I thought that was pretty cool. And knowing how she was on TOS, I know I certainly didn't need any arm-twisting to believe that Kyle would've fallen and fallen hard for Pulaski, when her rose was in bloom.

The civilian woman in the scene in Schisms where everyone's comparing their alien abduction experiences, but all she does is repeat whatever the last person said.

"They jabbed me with a needle, it was very sharp."
"Yes, very sharp."
"You're not much help at all, you know."

I have been thinking, this for years! Clearly they felt it would look silly if all the abduction people were series regulars but just using one of them as a new character and then not even giving her any real lines only calls attention to how dumb of a idea it is to only use regulars for that scene. At the very least they could have used Nurse Ogawa to help make things more credible.
