Mortal Kombat: Legacy II

So, anyone else watching this?

I'm up to episode 6 so far, and I've been really enjoying it. I think I've actually enjoying this more than Season 1 since we are getting more of an overarching story this time.
I've never played the games so I can't judge it based on the source material, but as a fantasy/action series it's been cool.

Watched it all. Only played the first 2 games really so not too sure who some of the characters were at times. Got a big kick out of Tagawa taking over the role of Shang Tsung in the second season, loved the first film back in the mid-90s.

Main disappointment is that half of the first season characters don't feature at all. It makes it so only really the Sub/Scorp and Kit/Mileena episodes from the first season really matter.

Mortal Kombat Legacy is mostly based on the 2011 reboot of the video game. His Rebirth short film was meant to be a total reimagining of the franchise based in reality. We were also never meant to see it as Tancheron uploaded it publicly by mistake. Legacy is more in tune with the traditional universe and mythology. I believe a season three is planned, and Tancheron stated he hopes to get Jeri Ryan back as well.

I haven't had a chance to see these yet...but will plan on doing so over the weekend.
