More Red Dwarf on the way? Kryten drops hint!!!

I can't believe they managed to fuck it up so badly with such a good cast on board.

One only needs to (bravely) endure the Agnostic Hymns scene to realise that the writers have no idea how to structure a joke.

I think I've repressed the memory... I know I watched at least 4 episodes, but I can remember fuck all about it.

Found a dwarf bit, thoguht I'd post it, a not very encouraging snippet from a July 08 interview:

No Red Dwarf film. Typical of England - even a film with a guaranteed audience it can't get made. There's too much politics. The writers split up, falling out with the director...it's personalities. Why wouldn't you want to make it? It's guaranteed to make money! I have big trouble answering questions like this, and they get asked a lot. I never got a straight answer.

I've not been asked to play Cat again and there's no new series. The BBC have lost hope - they were game to make another series. Everyone in the cast is with you on this. If they phoned up tomorrow, they'd get a movie made. It's just really...just 'don't know'. someone needs to tie Doug Naylor down and get a definite answer. He's the only person who can answer these questions, he holds the key to it all. No one's been able to do it - the only person who can answer that question hasn't spoken.

What rings alarm bells here is that this supposed "prospect" has been known to the website staff since the relaunch, but not to Danny John Jules?! Unless of course it is something really boring and crap that DJJ didn't think worth mentioning...

Here's a link to the whole interview, it's good.
