call me a grump (seriously, please do), but I don't see the appeal of collecting pins, they're about as attractive to me as Funco Pops ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I thought they were Starfleet Badge pins, not those ridiculous 'cartoon' type pins. People actually collect these ugly things?
The alien emblem pins they are planning might hold some interest. I don't know about the cartoon character versions of the Discovery cast. I can't think of any alien emblems prominent enough on the show to be featured. I too was hoping for some rank badges, especially after hearing that they don't presently have any official ones w/ rank released.
