Mobile Suit Gundam to get museum?

This isn't all that suprising, considering there are other anime museums here and there (Such as Ghibli's), and Gundam is very popular in Japan, where it's spawned tons of anime, manga, movies and of course, model kits and figures. And even here in the states, we have the ocassional Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Star Trek exhibits that tour museums.

It's also might be a new home for that giant statue.
 
That giant statue was so cool, so much detail was added to make it as real as possible.

They should make a real enterprise.
 
Hopefully the statue will get a permanent home I think it brought them in enough money to justify it.
 
The Giant Gundam was so awesome... That thing definitely needs to have a permanent home and always be on display someplace in Japan.

Actually instead of saying Giant I guess I should have said actual sized since it was replicating the actual size of the Gundam ;)
 
It would be cool if the deal goes through. Might have to take a trip there someday then.
 
The Principality of Zeon demands a Red Zaku statue to go alongside the Gundam statue, or else we shall call it favoritisim, and drop Side 4 on Tokyo
