Ive been thinking, im really glad they waited this long to make a Trek MMO because I think they will learn alot from the success and failures that previous MMOs have gone thru. Particularly(spelling?) Star Wars Galaxies . . . .Presently I am on a break from WoW (you can only rep grind your 70 toon for so long before you want to snap) . . . But what im really thinking about is STO and some practical mechanics for the game.
* Solid reputation system. I think thats going to be key for implimenting diplomacy in game which is a big part of Star Trek at times . . .
* Component Player Crafting. This is one of the few systems in SWG that I loved. Now I would guess that it all depends on if they are putting in crafers or even a player based economy. But the ability to decide what you want to do to your ship at the micro management level I think is key
