Hello, everyone, it's Peach Wookiee substituting for the wonderful Coloratura this weekend. I must say I'm looking forward to the 14th episode of the season after last week's poke at the more nitpicky among us! Let's see what another CMC episode brings us!

I was kinda expecting

the confrontation over the carts to happen before the race, so the CMCs would end up riding in the one they wanted to be in. Thinking about it now, getting to do the race over felt a little of an odd solution, but I liked that it was all of the foals who got to drive on their own.

Still, it was really fun, and I enjoyed it all the way through.

I loved that the episode

dealt with helicopter parenting. Who'd have thought that Rainbow had it in her? But when you want to win, I suppose it's going to happen!

This one gets an "A" from me as well. I loved the message of the episode, that your wants and needs are just as important as an adult's, and that your decisions and input matter. It's a good lesson for kids, so that they feel free to express their thoughts and opinions to adults. The episode was a great slice-of-life, and I had to chuckle when I spotted Derpy several times.
