)WOW. That's really all I have to say. This may very well have been the best episode all season. Who knew it was possible to make an excellent Pinkie song that wasn't based around her cartoon antics? Amazing episode, they pulled out all the stops on this one. Even going as far as to animate the felt scene on their own time at home. As much as I wanted to see Pinkie get some comeuppance in this episode regarding personal space, it was so good I really didn't care.

I wish I could have done more. I pulled it from my 1080p video, but that's as good as it probably gets.
I did remove the logos, which were distracting, so maybe this can help until someone does it better?

Yeah, it is odd. When I pause a blu-ray movie, it looks sharp and crisp like a photo. This, on the other hand, blurs up just a bit. Even applying several filters wouldn't quite sharpen it up like I wanted. Oh, and you're welcome!
Oh, and if you're interested, I made a second pass at it. I got it a little sharper and more blended, but still not to my satisfaction:

It was a Pinkie Pie sugar coma.
It sure was. And filled to the brim with meme fodder.
The show continues a streak of A-ranking episodes, and brings Pinkie Pie into the spotlight in a very enjoyable fashion!
The opening teaser was fun. Loved the retro-kitsch workout music. Nice little continuity touch with the appearance of the "Baby Cakes."
I loved the Smile!Smile!Smile! song. I am personally an optimist and love cheering people up and upbeat music, so this song is one of my favorite of the series now. The animation during the video was great, including all of the supporting characters appearing. I also felt it got pretty epic once the town joined in.
Pinkie Pie had some delightfully cartoony and over-the-top moments throughout: listing off all the C-names, the felt animation segment (complete with the 4th-wall breaking checkmarK), the entire chase sequence (especially the part where the eyes appear out of the brick), and her animation at the end once she realizes she has a new friend.
I have to admit, I didn't notice Derpy in the snowglobe the first time. That was a fun touch.
The scene with Rainbow Dash, Twilight, and Pinkie Pie was fun. It was a nice touch to see Rainbow reading another Daring-Do book! And, I loved Twi's headdesk reaction to Pinkie here--hilarious.
As for the ending, unlike others, I had no problems with it. This was a solid, fun, enjoyable episode all around!

One wonders if she's read all of them and decided to go back and read again.
