Does anyone outside of L.A. and New York even care about this?
I’ve been so busy at work, I've completely forgotten there was a World Series

Congrats Dodgers, but now I can't say defending World Series Champs for my Rangers anymore :(

Rangers and Astros is what we got in Texas. I wish San Antonio had a MLB team, and in our division as well. I think that would be cool.

I also wish Houston had a hockey team.

The day after the World Series, it's already hot stove time. Braves trade OF Jorge Soler to the Angels for RHP Griffin Canning. I wonder how Soler feels about this. He signs a three-year contract with the Giants, they trade him in year one, and now he's traded again.

I've been enjoying it on my drive home from work. I don't know if I care but definitely enjoying listening to it. It's been quite the series.

Congratulations to the Dodgers.

Dodgers/Yankees is a classic World Series match-up with a lot of history, it's two of the league's marquee franchises playing in the nation's two biggest and most iconic cities, and both teams had big stars and several future Hall of Famers playing for them. It's pretty much the dream World Series for MLB, neutral fans and casual fans.

I'm a Red Sox fan, so obviously I always root against the Yankees, but Mookie Betts plays for the Dodgers now, plus I've always had a soft spot for the Dodgers since my parents took me to see a game at Dodger Stadium (against the Giants, no less) when I was a kid and it was the best ballpark experience of my life, so I was thrilled to see the Dodgers win it. Congrats to them and their fans.

This guarantees Canning will win the Cy Young next year.

:scream:

And we get a 32 year old DH in return.

:wah:
