With Valentine's Day rapidly approaching, who or what do you love? Your spouse, your pets, your relatives, your country, the beauty of nature, being with friends, being alone---whatever or whoever; it doesn't matter. Just think of something or someone that you love, and enter an avatar of it. Standard av rules apply--must be work/Google-safe, 200 x 200 pixels max, 1 MB max. The poll will go up on the 16th, or thereabouts. You may enter up to three avatars. Here's three things I love: My cat Junior Going to the movies Unspoiled natural beauty
I realized, I'm not real clear what the rules are for the contests in this forum. I think the hiking one might be from a TV show, is that OK?
Generally Misc is non-media stuff but for this contest, it's perfectly fine. It's an example of hiking, and I'm totally cool with it.
First, I should say I feel like a bad person for not putting my actual loved ones on the list! But I sort of have this thing about not putting too much personal detail online. But you know who you are, and if you're reading this, know that you are at the top of the list, and my world. On to the entries... Chocolate. Like most romantic relationships, this isn't exactly good for me. But in this case, I can't stay away. If loving chocolate is wrong, I don't want to be right. A cozy, lazy weekend at home. It doesn't happen a lot (although granted, it has probably happened more in the last two years than usual!), but its rarity just makes it extra loved when it does happen. OK, this one's probably a bit of cliché, especially here, but... the Star Trek franchise. I'm one of those people who can find something to enjoy in all of the shows. Star Trek has been one of the few constants throughout my life, and has been there through some tumultuous times. And it's why I'm here, on this board. (See? Now you know what to blame!) (I'm hoping this one is OK, because you said you were willing to relax the no-media restriction this time, and I'm hoping showing it in the context I did, rather than just a still from a show, puts it into the allowable category. If there are any concerns with it, let me know!)
