I have a vote for Christmas presents ---

1. Cool cars I don't care about.

2. Already have three warm cats (including one that looks just like the gif).

3. Luckily, I will get to spend the holidays with family this year.

4. I'm an atheist who even in middle-age still gets chocolate-induced acne.

5. My own quasar would be cool, but the practical value would be in question.

6. While a little more money would be nice, but I've never been obsessed with obtaining it and believe its accumulation is very much like religion in being responsible for issues that hold back the advancement of the human species.

8. I get an adequate amount of kitty cuddle time even having to divide it amongst three furkids.

So, it looks like I'm with the majority in the poll in choosing 7 & 9 even though I think there is a very low chance we can achieve the first before the planet bakes to a cinder and a zero chance of the second since the first time a politician or someone powerful and wealthy is held accountable, the Earth will probably self-destruct on its own just from sheer disbelief.
