I have an older 2.4 GHz processor, but these games are old. I've played Might and Magic VI on Windows Vista at my girlfriend's place, but I have Windows XP. Heroes of Might and Magic III from the same company plays. I installed each one in order and they would not play when I put the play disc in. I tested playing a DVD and another game called Vampire Bloodlines which is far more intensive then the Might and Magic games.
My C drive is a little over full. I ran a compression on it in the past and I wonder if that is an issue. After many tries I finally got a Shrinker.err message from Might and Magic VI something like it couldn't find MSS Dll32 or something like that. I tried running each game in compatibility mode for Win 95, 98, NT, and 2000. None of them worked.
