Michael Moore's "Slacker Uprising"

I just found out that Slacker Uprising, a documentary of his 2004 "ramen and underwear" college tour was posted up for free a few weeks ago:

So, I don't know if the film itself really does anything other than document a very particular time in American politics, but it's just interesting to see 2004 in a nutshell all over again. The hatred the right had for the left is astonishing and I almost wonder if any of those people are still Bush/McCain supporter now in 2008.

I can also see why a previous version of the film was generally panned in 2007 when it premiered at TIFF. Coming off his previous work where he had an overt message and agenda, this comes off as very timid and perhaps even pointless... although, I would argue that the greater message is that he wants people to vote.

Anyway, there were worse ways to spend a couple of hours on the internet.

Oh yeah, it asks if you live in the US or Canada... and it's just a check box, so I assumed it was a wink wink situation. I guess they're blocking IPs though.
