While I'm glad Bay wasn't seriously hurt I wish an explosion had somehow been involved.

If someone were to criticize Michael Bay movies for racist, imperialist or misogynist propaganda, people like this would be up in arms. But because they don't like Michael Bay movies, they are pleased at physical violence against him.

BTW, how the hell does one swing an air conditioner? I guess those must be substantially lighter/smaller than the models I'm familiar with.
I will officially state my position as being AGAINST random violence directed at Michael Bay.
They should have just approached him and calmly requested a refund for all the horrible movies he made them sit through just like everybody else.
And honestly, I think the misogyny in Michael Bay films is just a side effect of really, really terrible writing. They don't mean to be misogynist, they're just that completely incompetent at writing lines for females.

I would hope that anyone, even the most rabid Bay-movie-hater, would be against such violence. You can hate a director's work, but no sane person would want that director to be attacked and beaten just because you don't like him.
