Meyer Influences on DSC Greater Than We Give Credit For?

In fairness...they talk like that in TMP as well. Very clipped.

It was really TSFS where it sounded more like a human language in terms of cadence etc.
Only one Klingon speaks in TMP, and he's never conversing. He's either giving orders or calling out a distress signal under fire, both situations where talking. like. this. to. be. clearly. understood would be appropriate.

I just thought of an idea to make TMP even more motionless. Replace the commander's commands with the audio of Tookoovmah's opening speech and slow the whole scene down to make it work. As it is the Klingon scenes are too fast paced and give a false idea of what you're in for for the next 12 i mean 2 hours.

I'm very curious to know what Meyer has been involved in because I was seeing his influence especially in the 2 episode pilot, even when it came to the direction.
