Kansas won, so it looks like it's Memphis that'll be bleeding tonight.
Actually, I think it's the free throw shooter from Memphis who's probably going to bleed.

I'm so happy. As a life long KU fan I've dreamed of this for twenty years. KU were pretty much the Buffalo Bills of the NCAA. They could always make it to the big dance, but could never seem to seal the deal. Beating the tar out of that turncoat Williams in the game before this makes the win even sweeter. And Self is staying put so that makes it all good.
That being said KU really didn't win so much as Memphis lost. Like Calipari said, when you are up by 9 with 2 minutes to go you are supposed to win. Even just one free throw would have sealed it for them. I've never seen a team just fall apart like that. I do feel bad for them. But they'll be back next year and so will we.
