Memorable Guest Stars...

During it's seven year run, many people were only featured on one episode, however, several were memorial appearences. One that I really felt did a great job was Phil Morris, who played Lt John Kelly in
"One Small Step" while Seven was on his ship in the Gravaton Elipse, trying to dislodge the power converter, as Chatokys request she plays the last active data files, I must say it is a touching scene watching his life end, as he is still doing his job to the end.

Do any of you have any favorite one time characters on Voyager??

Re: Memorial Guest Stars...

Joel Grey and Ray Walston.

Oh, and I believe Phil Morris is Greg Morris' son (the very cool guy from the old Mission: Impossible series). Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that?

Re: Memorial Guest Stars...

i think this means to say "memorable guests" ??

The Rock and Sarah Silverman

Annorax in "Year of Hell." A well-written and just-sympathetic-enough character, and a powerhouse performance from Kurtwood Smith, who I really believe took the material seriously and to whom I am grateful for that. One of Trek's best villains ever for my money.

Re: Memorial Guest Stars...

One of the most memorable on anybody's Trek list would have to be the "Lon Suder" character's guest star, Brad Dourif ("Grima Wormtongue" in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, among others). He's got a long entry at Memory Alpha.

Re: Memorial Guest Stars...

Kurtwood Smith - I kept wanting him to threaten to put his foot in Janeway's ass.

yea. memorial suggests guest stars who have died in episodes.

Re: Memorial Guest Stars...

Thank for correcting my mistake, I sometimes type to fast and at time do not proof-read my spelling. I did mean to title my thread "Memorable Guest Stars" however, memorial may not be such a bad thread either...

Re: Memorial Guest Stars...

The most memorable guest stars were Joel Gray, George Takei, and The Rock. Resistance is a powerful episode and Joel Gray was flawless. And it was also nice to see a TOS cast member again(Takei). :D As for The Rock, I remember being in college and a friend of mine wanted me to record this episode. She wasn't a fan of Voyager by any means but she loved The Rock and wanted me to record this episode for her. We watched it together another night and she drooled all over The Rock. :D

lol yea. an ode of sorts to fallen guest stars. :D

but yea, i agree, andy dick certainly made his guest appearance memorable. i really liked that ep and the interaction between the two emh. :D

After watching it recently, what about Jason Alexander. Also, Virginia Madson, even though it wasn't necessarily memorable and the actress who played Tigh's Wife in BSG (The name escapes me right now).

^ Kate Vernon.

Another BSG actor, Rick Worthy (Simon) played Noah Lessing in Equinox.

Sharon Lawrence as Amelia Earhart was one of my favorite guest appearance.
