I went with Donna and Jack, myself. Those two together would have been AWESOME! I'd have loved to watched some episodes with The Doctor dealing with Donna AND Jack traveling with him...

Haven't seen enough of the classic Who to have an opinion/comparison.

I don't think there's any objectively best or worst companion, considering the vast differences in personality. It's only when the acting itself is bad that you have a real problem liking the character, regardless of your tastes.

Jamie and Leela. But it's really just my mood at the moment.

To me, Donna Noble is clearly my favourite among the ones I know. I had trouble selecting a second one because there was more than just one runner-up so I went with Rose. If we'd had three votes, though, I would have gone with Ian and Barbara but I couldn't decide which one of them I liked better. They work so well as a team, I think.

I'm going with Jaimie and Amy.

Toughy... Sarah Jane is the clear favorite for me, but second place was a toss up between Amy and Donna.

A lot of the classic companions leave me kind of meh.. Maybe it's just because it's been a while since I've seen many of the older shows.

Jamie and Sarah Jane would have been next...

So far, Amy is becoming my favorite. Loved Donna and Rose, but Amy has that "Something," and since she's already married, the chances of a romantic relationship with the Doctor have become somewhat diminished.

I'm not big on Liz but seeing Donna with Six would have been glorious indeed.
