TVGUIDE:
In the Season 5 opener, Allison helps Devalos investigate the slaying of his friend's sister---but Allison's visionary insights about the friend's former husband and current spouse take the case in unforeseen directions. On the domestic front, daughter Bridgette lands in trouble at school for drawing nude pictures of her art teacher. Max Casella guest stars.

^ Depends on the ratings I believe. Some of their more successful shows are being moved to earlier times and I think that Saturdays/Sundays are keeping 10pm programs.

It's hard watching James Urbaniak(the Teacher) because when he talks all I hear is Dr."Rusty" Venture.

I wonder if NBC will be hosting this on their website? That was how I kept up to date a lot last season.

I've been watching the last couple seasons on Hulu, and I'm pretty sure that as far as their current programming goes, whatever is available to Hulu is also up on NBC's website.

I thought Maria did a great job with the emotional scene she had to pull off. I was worried that the teacher was into porn or something - he gave off a creepy vibe, and with the naked pictures, I was just really concerned.

The main plot was pretty standard Medium fare. I get frustrated with Devalos and Scanlon's skepticism - not that so much as their manner of expressing it. After 4 years of this, you'd think they'd learn that Allison's input always has SOME sort of meaning that's relevant to the case. The dismissive "maybe you're on the wrong channel and need to focus on the real mystery" attitude is getting really old.

I especially enjoyed this week's musical score, particularly the "floating page" theme. That was quite lovely, giving me a vague Somewhere in Time sensibility.

As I said, fairly by-the-numbers for Medium, but just great to see the show back! I LOVE the lineup of getting Chuck, Heroes, and Medium all on the same night. :techman:

Yeah, I've thought that too the past couple of seasons. Not so much Scanlon, because he at least seems to inject a bit of his sense of humor whenever he dismisses her theories, but Devalos always seems a bit harsh and insulting, like he's humoring a nutcase or something. I'm like, dude, you KNOW what Allison does, how she does it, and how successful she is. Chill out and try to be a little nicer! :D
