That's terrible, hope she recovers well.
So, I had three thoughts simultaneously while reading this.
1. This is why we need self driving cars sooner than later.
2. I hope they can repair her hand and she doesn't lose her finger.
3. How are they going to explain this on BBT.
And while typing that I had a fourth thought,

They handled Kaley Cuoco's foot so they'll probably manage.
I imagine there's a better chance her finger will be less than 100% functional than she will lose it outright. Hopefully she will recover completely. Looking at the crash photo it's hard to understand how her hand would've got in such a state.
Agreed. Couldn't have happened to a better person: kind, beautiful, funny, and stupid smart. (AFF has nothing on her brains.)
I wish her the best.
She seems like the kind of person who'd actually have fun with it.
I can see LL&P salute jokes galore in her future.
Glad to hear she's keeping all parts and pieces. Wish her a speedy recovery. What a horrible thing to have happen.

I've no idea who she is, but glad to hear she'll be okay.
I suspect she'll lose good mobility in that finger but if it's a pinky even on her dominant hand? Meh.

Don't watch The Big Bang Theory, rarely watch CBS shows even more rarely watch commercials.
From the above YT clip, looks like I've made the right call to not watch TBBT.
I like how it's only when someone famous gets injured you think this.
For the purposes of presenting the virtues of the show, it's a poorly selected clip. But a fan favorite.
The show was at it's peak in the early seasons when it was 4 geeks and one cute girl. Recently the estrogen oversaturation and dumbing down of the once-great-Sheldon has diminished the final product. Seasons 1-3 were golden.
It has always seemed to me to be a show to reinforce geek stereotypes and make them even more of something to laugh at and portray as people clueless around "normal" people, especially girls and women.
You don't know anyone like that?
While I wouldn't argue that is/was the perceived hook by intention or happenstance that's not what it's evolved into.
There still will be a trace of that but there is also at times a demonstration, more via Penny than any character, that non-genre people have perhaps been overly fixated on that stereotype and these "geeks", "nerds", "gamers" and cosplayers at their core are just having fun, their fun just isn't tailgating tossing corn-hole and drinking beer while quoting stats from the '85 championship (insert) team.
They quote Firefly or stats from Superman issue #268 for fun.
