Maybe a teaser will be with the theatrical 'The Menergie'???

The remastered 'The Menagerie' is showing in 300 U.S.and Canadian movie theaters this week (November 13th and 15th).

Is it possible that Paramount will add some sort of Teaser Trailer to those special theatrical showings? I think a "surprise" tariler would be a great way to get some publicity for this film (and so far, Paramount has been doing an outstanding job on the publicity for this film.)

I know there won't be any actual footage, but since there was talk of a teaser being produced for Abrams' "Cloverfield/1-18-08" movie, perhaps there also will be one for 'The Menagerie'.

I'm guessing not. I mean, only hardcore Trekkies will be going to that anyhow. All of which will also be going to Star Trek XI regardless.

A teaser won't be completed until next year. Even then it's purpose is to generate interest from general cinema goers, the kind who wouldn't been seen dead booking in advance to see something 40 years old and made for TV at that...
