Sources tell Deadline that the House of the Dragon star is on board to join Ryan Gosling in Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Starfighter. Mia Goth is also on board, with Shawn Levy directing the pic. Sorry, that's just a poor joke referencing the rumors circling back around 2018 and 2019 that he was in Rise of Skywalker until late summer or maybe fall 2019 when Smith himself was asked about his role in the movie and he denied being in it, which as it turns our was true.

Anyway, I guess this makes him the fifth Doctor to appear in Star Wars, with the other four consisting of Peter Cushing, David Tennant, Tom Baker and Richard E Grant. Though, Smith will only be the third of the "official" Doctors to do SW.
