Everyone who read the comics, knew exactly who he was.
Suspecting/theorizing about the character's identity while watching isn't the same as knowing said identity before you start watching.

But isn't that exactly what you asked about? How did people view the episode without knowing for a fact who Joe Locked played?Suspecting/theorizing about the character's identity while watching isn't the same as knowing said identity before you start watching.
First thought- headache!Ugh, that looks a miserable way to watch a film.
It's not bad. It's kinda fun. Too expensive though.Ugh, that looks a miserable way to watch a film.
Exactly. I should be enjoying the film, not dealing with side effects from the experience. Much like 3D films (Avatar was a fucking miserable experience and I have great vision).First thought- headache!
I love IMAX and it's worth it for the right film, which is likewise a bit of a drive. I don't know where the closet Screen X theater (probably several hours at least) is but I don't care. This screams fads. Just like 3D films.Only heard of that existing about a year ago. Closest to me is at least an hour away. So is closet IMAX which is worth it for the right movie. So never would bother trying that. With current prescription I have to shift my glasses at an angle for regular movie in the dark. Can not imagine getting comfortable or knowing where to look with all that side imagery.
I'll take your word for it. IMAX is worth the price. This does not like it would be.It's not bad. It's kinda fun. Too expensive though.
The intention seems to be to make the viewing experience more immersive and i think that you basically look straight ahead while feeling more inside the film. It works well during scenes like swinging through the city. Can not imagine getting comfortable or knowing where to look with all that side imagery.
100%. ScreenX came across as a gimmick to me on previous viewings. But the new Spider-Man movie had ScreenX on set with them so I felt this time it's a little more well done. Avengers Doomsday didn't have ScreenX on set with them so I think that will definitely be a disappointment.I'll take your word for it. IMAX is worth the price. This does not like it would be

I'd go for ScreenX before I'd do IMAX. I find something like that a lot more immersive and fun than just a bigger screen. Not to mention the one time we tried to do IMAX back when the first Hobbit movie came out, I had to leave and get our money back pretty much the moment the sound came on because it was just to loud for me.The intention seems to be to make the viewing experience more immersive and i think that you basically look straight ahead while feeling more inside the film. I'd probably choose ScreenX if you'd already seen the film and were looking for a new viewing experience on second or third viewings.
