We want to use ships of different configurations in multiple episodes. Awareness of our series is limited, and awareness of this contest is even more limited, so for these reasons the contest deadline will be dependent upon the entries we receive.
Once we have enough viable candidates we'll announce a deadline one month in advance, so anyone still working on a design can finish and submit it within that month.
