Managerial mistakes

Hi all,
I'm doing a session at work on "managerial mistakes" for my fellow first line managers (why? because they're forcing me...).
Anyway, I thought I'd pad the session out by using video clips from movies, TV shows, etc of managers mishandling their employees. But, I find it hard to find anything worthwhile (yes, I tried looking for "The Office" clips on you tube, but gave up after the 100th "top 10 'that's what she said'" clips).

Can anyone think on any good examples?

You could look at the John Cleese management/training videos, some of which are on You Tube.

Well, there are some great David Brent clips from the original The Office on YouTube...

Fortunately for you, EyalM, I am here to help you. Buy or rent 12 O'Clock High (Gregory Peck 1949) and make them watch it. It is the greatest lesson on leadership and management ever put on film. You won't have to do any padding - everything you'll ever need is in there ;)

There was a scene in Repo Man where Otto gets fired from the grocery store, and then another later on when he sends his new Repo-man pals over to the grocery store manager's house and they kick his ass.

But you must not forget Office Space, the true high mark in cinematic managerial mediocrity.

Fight Club. Definitely. Especially when he talks about going from cubicle to cubicle pumping round after round into his coworkers.

Make them work undercover at a Wal-Mart store for a week. Anything that can possibly be done wrong will be on full display. Sexual harassment, racial discrimination, an overall lack of efficiency, ignorance of OSHA standards, etc etc etc.

HEY! There is no Fight Club..

On another note.. Go to Despair.com and click on some of the links for their "unmotivational" videos.. They are brilliant!
