Man Those Founders Were Good

Knew "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" verse and Hip Hip Hooray chant....

Makes me wonder if they can transfer knowledge from one founder to another without both being linked. One founder from earth learns the For He's a Jolly Good Fellow chant, links and shares it with the Great Link, another founder later links with the Great Links and picks up everything there is to know about humans.

Sounds likely. But the Founder agents in Alpha (and Beta) would have difficulty Linking with anything much, unless they left their posts for an extended time to visit a "dropbox".

Then again, I could well see the Founders rotating their agents for proper conveying of intel. Moving an agent in or out would be even less difficult than maintaining one at its post: whatever screening methods the heroes had for incoming or outgoing personnel, any inside agent could easily subvert, perhaps the simplest by briefly becoming the officer in charge of screening.

And if rotated, the agents could be very efficiently debriefed for the minutest of details by Linking.

Any information relayed to the Founders would immediately have been relayed to them and immediately relayed to the rest of the link. The Dominion started scouting the Federation in 2369-2370.

Realistically, the Founders probably knew more about the Alpha Quadrant "solid" species than the Borg ever did.
