Man scolded for not handing out Halloween candy

So far I've been lucky. I've never had had any child complain about not getting enough candy.

Halloween is a fairly low-stress holiday in my neck of the woods. The unwritten but universally adhered-to rule is, "Porch light on, come get the goodies. Porch light off, I'm not playin' this year."

Yep, that's how we do it in our neighborhood too.

I bolted an old tupperware container to the outside of my apartment door (sheet metal) filled it with snicker bars and went to a party, when I returned the next morning the candy bars and most of the container were gone.

So how was the party?

The party was fantastic. Went as a ghost this year, temporary gelled my hair and lashes virgin snow. Used some left over polartec (grey-white) to make a rib high crop-top with a short cape and a rip/ragged mid thigh miniskirt, and I wore my white ankle Bordello Boots with the four inch heels.

My friends hired a DJ and this year remembered to get some space heaters for the patio. I brought a couple of 750 ml bottles of Jack Daniels Black Label for my host.
