My point is it's a TV show, can't the TV Korean War last 2-3-4 times as long as the real one? Considering it's not a show about the Korean War, it's more of a show about how horrible war in general and the Vietnahm Wars are.

It was a historical dramady. Without much of Korea's real history its a different show. Vietnam would have been the same except the soldiers would rotate out to be replaced, thus Hawkeye would have to be replaced like Trapper John was. After MASH was not able to survive the star being missing. Just accept that two years in Korea translated into 11 TV seasons for the soldiers of the 4077th MASH

I have a question about the show.

Does it take place in the 1950-1960+, or did it take place later? It clearly doesn't follow any real history because the show lasted 4 times longer than the war.

MASH took place between the years 195X - 195X.
