Lynda Baron RIP

The ballad may have been overused in "The Gunfighters", but the song still had a place for a while. She delivers it quite well, but as far as experimental aspects of the story go, the direction was definitely ahead of its time from what I recall. Worked better for me as an adult, too, though those costumes the TARDIS crew wore were still ridiculous...

Baron must have relished the role of Wrack. Comes across with a lot of screen presence and I love it. Perhaps OTT, but not quite in a bad way. Simply perfect for the role, she was. Wrack was easily the best of the Eternals, though Mariner had key moments and Stryker had his moments too... Wrack still topped them all.

I rather like the song. Not in context but on a player.
