Paramount Gives Go-Ahead To Liman’s Sci-Fi Heist Film Luna

Liman will direct and produce with Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes, Jumper), who did the most recent script polish, and Allison Shearmur.

Hmm sci-fi heist? Doug Liman rocks.
I'll go see anything he does.

MOON... ZERO-TWOOOO!

The film centers centers on a group of ex-space employees who travel the world stealing equipment in an effort to return to the moon to find an energy source.

Wait, what? Stealing a Saturn V is not exactly like stealing a car.

But it could be cool.

I also like most of the actor names mentioned....

plus it could be either amazing, or such a mess that it'll be fun to watch anyway (in an Armageddonish way)

A private company attempting to build a viable space program (complete with skunkworksy hijnks) would be a great topic for a TV series!
