They've just announced that the Boom! Studios comic book Lumberjanes is going to be getting an animated series adaptation at HBO Max, with Noelle Stevenson, the co-creator of the comic and the creator of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, serving as a writer, director, and executive producer on the series.
This is one of my favorite comics, and I've been wishing they would do an animated series adaptation since I first started reading it, so this news makes me very happy. Having Noelle Stevenson in charge of it is just icing on the cake.
